We believe marriage is sign of unity and loyalty, that enriches society and strengthens community and is a great foundation for
family life. Getting married in church is a public declaration before God
and your family and friends that you are pledging yourselves to a
lifetime of love and companionship. It is a reflection of our eternal
Christian relationship with God.
All Saints’ is a popular venue for weddings, not least due to the
presence of The White Swan pub over the road! There
are
always so many things to organise and we are happy to talk to you about
dates well in advance.
Weddings usually take place between 10am and 4pm on a Saturday, but can occur on a
different day by arrangement. We never do more than two weddings on any
one day and always with an adequate time space between to avoid a clash of
guests. Bells, choir and church florist are also available.
Rules about living in the parish, the saying of banns, gaining special
licences, remarrying those who have been divorced, etc are complicated
and best discussed face to face. Please contact the vicar at mail@allsaints.ockbrook.com

"Despite being our very best friends, our wedding
guests were, by and large, not regular church goers! It was
lovely that every one of them came to the church and a real bonus that
they all really enjoyed their visit. There was much conversation about
the relaxed and welcoming church service and many compliments
throughout the evening. A surprising number of people said that
they would absolutely definitely be going to church again."
