Getting Involved
The Choir

Our organist Rhoda Salisbury also leads our choir, managing a flexible group of approximately 20 people and ensuring the repertoire is constantly evolving and developing.

Aside from singing at Sunday services the choir is also available to sing at weddings and is often requested by other churches in the area. They also lead the worship at two important services in the Church year – Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas and the Passion Sunday Service the week before Easter. Choir practice is held every Friday at All Saints’ at 7.30pm.

If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact mail@allsaints.ockbrook.com.

Borrowash Christmas Tree Festival 2010

The Choir regularly supports a wide range of activities in Ockbrook and Borrowash run by the Anglican Church and other Churches within the villages.

The display for 2010 is a wild boar emerging from the pine forest to illustrate 'The Boar's Head Carol', the Medieval Carol exhibited by the Anglican Choir in the Christmas Tree Festival at the Methodist Church Borrowash.  The display is by the collective efforts of Barbara Scrimshaw, Peter Bagley and Rhoda Salisbury, who added appropriate decorations to complete the scene.
